REPORTS QUALIFICATION DAY 1
Quotes in English

Sean CONROY 3-1 Jakob DIRNBERGER
                                       11/9 6/11 11/1 12/10 50min

Enjoying my first time ever in Paris ! The club is great and its right across the road from the hotel that I’m staying in.

I had a tough match with Jakob. I was 10-9 down in the 4th and played 3 great rallies to win the match.

Happy to be into the qualifying finals and looking forward to my match against Abdullah tomorrow.

Alex INGHAM 3-1 Auguste DUSSOURD
                                      11/6 8/11 11/7 11/4 50min

I haven’t played Auguste before so I really tried to focus and I took a quick start in the first game, made a few mistakes at the end of the second but reasserted well in the next two and kept in front.

Happy with my game and looking forward to playing in the qualif finals tomorrow.

Johan BOUQUET 3-0 Robert DOWNER
                                         11/4 11/6 13/11 45min

Been feeling elated about “returning” to playing PSA again, in my home club, as even if I left the PSA last year I still love the game, train and look for chances to play competitive matches.

As for this one, obviously pressure was more on Robbie’s shoulders than on mine, so I just tried to keep pace up and not make mistakes, which he did on the other hand.

Lucky to sneak a 3/0 victory, match was quite fair played as we’re good friends, sorry for him then..look forward to playing even better tomorrow ! Roll on ! :)

Thoboki MOHOLHO 3-1 Quint MANDIL
                                        10/12 11/7 11/2 11/9 55min

Glad to be back in Paris in Jeu De Paume. Its such a great club, one of the better clubs I hae had the pleasure of playing at. With Great memories of doing well here in a previous tournament, I hope to do one or two better this time.

Started off in the Qualifying with a win against a local favourite and glad to have a shot at qualifying for the main draw tomorrow.
